In order to hold our wedding in my husband's home country, we left Nagano for several months to prepare for the ceremony in an unfamiliar location. Preparing for our wedding in an unfamiliar place and language was extremely difficult, but the sight of the engagement ring on my left hand encouraged me more than I could have ever imagined.
